Chief Accountant

Farsight Vision has developed an innovative technology that analyzes drone videos in real time. Our system converts ordinary frames into digital 2D and 3D models of the terrain, enabling detailed situational information even when geographic coordinates cannot be defined. We are growing and strengthening the financial direction, seeking an experienced and responsible Chief Accountant who wants to join the team of an innovative Ukrainian product in the defense tech sector and ensure financial stability and efficiency of the business.

Requirements

• Experience managing legal entities registered in Ukraine — at least 5 years.
• Knowledge of Ukrainian tax law overall, including corporate taxation, personal taxation, rules for taxation of residents of Diia City, etc.
• Ability to maintain accounting of income/expenses, correctly determine the tax base.
• Ability to analyze financial information, prepare requests and responses to tax authorities.
• Responsible, organized, autonomous, able to work in a team.
• Ability to work with large volumes of information.
• English at Intermediate level or higher.
• Higher education in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Desire for professional growth, openness to new functions, ability to work in a team.
• Willingness for hybrid work format (office 2–3 times per week).

Must have

• Residence in Lviv or nearby.
• Experience managing a Diia City resident.
• Experience independently managing a Limited Liability Company (general tax regime + VAT).

Responsibilities

• Organization and control of all areas of accounting and tax accounting of the LLC (general regime, VAT), a Diia City resident.
• Support in reporting grants usage.
• Support in audits.
• Tax optimization and monitoring regulatory compliance.
• Monitoring compliance with Diia City residency conditions.
• Interaction with controlling and inspection authorities.
• Ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Providing consultations on accounting and tax matters to management.
• Payroll accrual (employment contracts, gig contracts).
• HR and military accounting.

Would be a plus

• Experience with foreign jurisdictions.
• Experience with accounting systems other than 1C.
• Experience with grants, budgetary institutions, and military units.
