Location: Munich (Remote) – This is a rotational shift role with some on-site requirements in our global setup. Compensation: €14 – €16 per hour.

Your Role
Our customers run 24/7 operations across multiple countries. You will be the crucial first line of defense during weekends or early weekday hours as part of a dedicated 4-person Working Student cohort in Technical Customer Support. You will monitor system health, respond to critical alerts, handle customer inquiries, and coordinate with Field Engineers and Integration teams to prevent downtime and keep scanning solutions running.
This role involves fault-finding, direct customer interaction, and significant ownership in a fast-paced environment. If you want weekend work with a highly visible impact on global operations, this is it.
Shift Hours: Rotational shifts totaling 20 hours per week. Shifts are scheduled to ensure 24/7 coverage. Must be available on weekends and public holidays, and for early shifts starting at 4:00 AM CET.
Your Day-to-Day
- Take ownership of rotational shifts to provide continuous 24/7 coverage.
- Monitor the status and telemetry of globally installed units.
- Investigate and triage alerts to prevent downtime or hardware quenching.
- Interact with customers via multiple channels with clear communication.
- Document issues, fault-find, and escalate when needed.
- Coordinate solution finding with developers and third-level teams.
- Ensure thorough documentation and customer updates in systems.
Your Experience and Skills
- Currently studying a technical degree at a technical college or university.
- Solid technical foundation; customer support experience is a plus.
- Analytical, with problem-solving mindset.
- Comfortable following documented processes and writing clear notes.
- Clear English communication; German, French or Spanish fluency is a plus.
- Any customer support or software experience is beneficial.
