Role

We are looking for an ambitious Manager, Strategic Finance to drive financial modeling and provide data-informed recommendations to leadership on capital allocation, fundraising, budgeting, and strategic initiatives. The role involves maintaining the operating model, partnering with business leaders on expenses and headcount budgets, and implementing new tools and processes across Germany and the US. This is a full-time position with a strong preference for in-office presence in Austin twice per week. Remote candidates will be considered case-by-case.

Responsibilities

• Lead RobCo’s financial model, distilling inputs into key insights to drive decisions
• Partner with department heads to build and maintain detailed expense and headcount budgets
• Lead financial reporting for internal stakeholders and the board
• Support Financial Operations and CFO with US-specific processes
• Provide monthly variance analysis and cash burn recommendations
• Contribute to US non-dilutive financing analysis and execution

Requirements

• 3-5+ years in Strategic Finance or FP&A in a high-growth technology company; early-career investment banking or consulting is a plus
• Comfort modeling hardware-driven businesses; unit economics, COGS, or manufacturing financials are a differentiator
• Strong financial modeling skills; ability to translate data into narratives for non-finance stakeholders
• Experience with ERP, EPM, GL; interest in AI-powered tool implementation
• Experience supporting executive decision-making with credibility across Product, Engineering, and GTM
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets; SQL or BI tools (Looker, Tableau) a plus
• Willingness to work with a global team
